Recently reclassified as Dracaena, this is a cultivated variety of Dracaena bacularis that displays a beautiful grass-like appearence, and can get quite large with age. With the genus originating from Africa, parts of Asia, all the way down to Australia, and two species originating from Central America - it proves to be one of the most resilient houseplants in cultivation.

Dracaena bacularis 'Mikado' can take a variety of lighting conditions, including dramatically low light all the way to full sun. It prefers high temps, and a gritty, well-draining soil mix. This plant has no humidity concerns, and likes to get BONE dry in between waterings. If it's in less-than-ideal lighting, we recommend aiming for no more than about once a month with waterings.

May need to be repotted in 6 months to a year.
